In Bursa, a city in western Turkey, a local newspaper owner Irfan Aydin was arrested due to his posts on social media in favour of the coup attempt in June 15.

More than 300 complaints, including AKP Municipality President Mustafa Kaya, were received about the post. Later, Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office started a prosecution against Irfan Aydin. He was taken to Court on Duty and there he was arrested for supporting the coup and sent to prison.
